Terms of Service
Last updated: 2026-06-16
These terms govern your use of Leitmora (the “Service”), operated by Andrii Bashtovoi (sole proprietor, Poland; NIP 5243061257). By using the Service you agree to them. If you do not agree, please don’t use the Service. Questions: hello@leitmora.com.
What Leitmora is
Leitmora is a personal project that collects your Spotify listening history and renders it as private visualizations, for your own use. It is provided free of charge, “as is”, with no guarantee of availability, accuracy, or fitness for any particular purpose.
Your account
You sign in with Google. You are responsible for keeping access to your Google account secure. You must be old enough to consent to data processing in your country (generally 16 in the EU, or the local equivalent).
Connecting Spotify
To collect new plays automatically, the Service asks you to connect your own Spotify developer application (you create it, you add yourself, you paste its credentials). You are responsible for that application and for complying with Spotify’s own developer terms. Alternatively, you can simply upload your Spotify listening-history export — no Spotify app required.
Acceptable use
Use the Service only for your own personal, non-commercial purposes and in line with applicable law. Do not attempt to break, overload, reverse-engineer, or gain unauthorized access to the Service or to other users’ data, and do not upload data that is not yours.
Third-party services and content
The Service relies on third parties — Spotify, Google, Deezer — each governed by its own terms. Track, artist, album and cover-art metadata belong to Spotify and the respective rights holders; they are shown to you for personal use and remain their property. Leitmora is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Spotify.
Your data
How we handle your personal data is described in our Privacy Policy. You can export or delete your data at any time from the account menu.
No warranty
The Service is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that any data will be preserved.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the operator is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for loss of data, arising from your use of the Service. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law (e.g. for intent or gross negligence, or your statutory consumer rights).
Suspension and termination
You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or discontinue the Service, or remove access, at any time — for example to protect the Service or comply with third-party terms. We will avoid doing so arbitrarily where your data is concerned.
Changes
We may update these terms; the date above reflects the latest revision. Material changes will be communicated in the app. Continued use after a change means you accept the updated terms.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Poland, without prejudice to any mandatory consumer-protection rules of your country of residence.
